Celebrities get a lot of attention especially when they are married. Such marriages raise various questions such as: will the relationship last? Are they really happy? Is the marriage not just another publicity stunt?

However. those which stir-up the most controversy are definitely those who don't wear wedding bands. Whether its done for the attention or simply because

they just don't feel like wearing jewelry that day, a married celeb without a wedding ring would definitely raise some eyebrows.

Prince William caused a bit of stir when it was unveiled  that he wouldn't wear a wedding band following his marriage to Kate Middleton. According to The Daily Mail, the decision is simply a "personal preference."

Christina Aguilera split from her husband of five years in 2010. However, she hardly wore a wedding band while she was married. 

Will Smith has been married to his wife, Jada Pinkett, for 14 years and they have two children together. Will  is frequently seen without his wedding band. Even though there have been rumors of divorce flying for quite a while the couple have refuted the allegations and remain happily married.

Jay-Z (Shawn Corey Carter) married American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles in 2008. They have a daughter named Blue Ivy Carter, born January 7, 2012.  Be that as it may, Jay-Z rarely wears a wedding band.
