Ever wonder how a Titanium ring is made....

Most people do not know that Titanium rings are not made in the same way as traditional metal rings. Titanium rings are not cast.
Titanium rings are cut/crafted from a solid bar of titanium on a CNC (computerized) lathe or manual lathe.

Included below are a couple of short video clips showing a titanium ring being cut/crafted on the lathe. After the rings are cut, the edges are sanded for a better finish. The rings then are given a durable polish finish on the inside.
Please note, the video quality is not the best and we are working on getting new video to put up soon!

We then give the ring the outside finish requested by the buyer (polished, brushed, frosted, sandblasted, burnished etc) one ring at a time.

This video clip shows an operator programming the computer on the lathe for the specific ring style he is making. Each ring style/size/width has a different program in order to let the machine know how to cut the ring to the correct specifications. Next, he sets the titanium bar in the machine.

While this isn't the best video clip - we did the best we could to get a shot of the inside of the lathe while it is actually cutting the ring and then pulling the ring from the bar of titanium. Please keep your eye on the upper left of the video clip.
